As millions of Americans hunker down for a massive winter storm sweeping the country, new maps are offering updated forecasts of snow and ice accumulations.

The snow is coming down in some parts of Georgia, and its expected to intensify as the day moves on.

4:08 p.m .: Zoo Atlanta has announced it will be closed on Sunday, Feb. 1 "due to extreme cold temperatures forecasted through the weekend."
